QuietDeclutterPhoto library review

Coming soon to the App Store

See what’s taking up space in your photo library — and decide what goes.

QuietDeclutter looks through the photos and videos on your iPhone and groups the ones you may not need: identical copies, near-identical shots taken close together, screenshots, large videos, and the extra frames in a burst. You review each group and choose what to delete. Nothing is deleted until you choose it and iOS asks you to confirm, and everything happens on your iPhone.

What QuietDeclutter finds

The things that quietly fill a photo library

Duplicates

Exact copies saved within seconds of each other, grouped so you keep one.

Similar photos

Near-identical shots taken within five minutes of each other, with one marked Keep.

Screenshots

Every screenshot in one place, so old ones are easy to clear.

Large videos

Your biggest videos, sorted by size, above a threshold you choose.

Burst extras

The frames in a burst you never picked as the one to keep.

Storage at a glance

How full your iPhone is, as iOS reports it.

A checklist for the rest

The storage steps only iOS Settings can do, such as offloading apps you don’t use, written out so you can tick them off.

You decide

Suggestions, never surprises

In each group of duplicates or similar photos, QuietDeclutter marks one photo Keep and may start the others selected as a suggestion. Favorites and burst photos are never selected for you, large groups of similar photos start with nothing selected, and your Hidden album is never scanned. Screenshots and videos start with nothing selected at all.

When you tap Delete, iOS shows its own confirmation. Deleted items go to the Recently Deleted album in Photos, where you can recover them for 30 days.

If you use iCloud Photos, deleting on this iPhone also deletes from your other devices that share the library. Items in an iCloud Shared Library are deleted for everyone in it. The app says so next to every Delete button.

Private by architecture

Your photos never leave your iPhone

QuietDeclutter makes no network connections. Every scan runs on your iPhone, and no QuietField server ever sees your photos. There’s no account, no ads, and no analytics or tracking of any kind — the App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”

The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Price

Free to download

Free to download. Scan, review, and your first 100 deletions are free. A one-time $4.99 unlock removes the limit. No subscription.

The limit

What it can’t do

QuietDeclutter works only with your Photos library. iOS doesn’t let any app see or delete another app’s data, its caches, or System Data, and QuietDeclutter can’t either. It doesn’t change how your iPhone performs.

With iCloud Photos on, iOS doesn’t report exactly how much of each photo is stored on the iPhone itself, so the sizes QuietDeclutter shows are approximate. Requires an iPhone with iOS 18 or later.
