Frequently asked questions
How do my workouts get into Velodex?
Peloton lets members download their workout history as a CSV file from Peloton’s website. Tap Open Peloton’s website in Velodex to download it in Safari, then choose that file in Velodex (or share it to Velodex from Files, Mail, or AirDrop). Velodex reads only the workout file you download from Peloton and choose to import; it never signs in to Peloton and makes no connection to Peloton’s service. You can also add workouts by hand, and import a newer file anytime. All analysis happens on your device, and no Velodex server ever holds your workouts.
What does the free version include?
The free tier gives you full analytics on your newest 25 imported workouts. A single optional subscription, Velodex Premium ($9.99/year), unlocks your entire workout history and all advanced training features. Velodex Premium is an auto-renewing subscription: it renews yearly until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings. Pricing and full purchase terms are shown in the app before you buy, and all purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store.
How do I delete my data?
Both controls are in the app’s Settings. Remove imported workouts deletes every workout that came from an imported file, with its derived results; workouts you added by hand stay, and it doesn’t withdraw your consent. Delete all Velodex data deletes everything from your device — every workout (imported or added by hand), your FTP and test results, derived results, and your consent record — in one action, and withdraws your health-data consent. It is a real deletion, not a soft-hide. Because no Velodex server ever holds your workouts, there is nothing for us to delete on any server. Deleting the app itself also removes its local data, per standard iOS behavior.
Is Velodex affiliated with Peloton? Could importing stop working?
No. Velodex is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Peloton Interactive, Inc. Velodex reads only the workout file Peloton lets you download from its website. Peloton may change or remove that download at any time; if it does, everything you’ve already imported stays viewable on your device and exportable to CSV.
Can I get my data out of Velodex?
Yes. The app includes a built-in CSV export of your workout history, which you can run at any time. Your data is yours.
Where can I read the privacy policies?
The Velodex Privacy Policy covers everything the app handles. The separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (required by the Washington My Health My Data Act) covers consumer health data specifically, including how to exercise access, withdrawal, and deletion rights.
